About
Building things, writing about the process.
I'm Logan Abell, a developer and creator based somewhere with good coffee and better internet. This site is my digital garden—a place to share what I'm learning, building, and thinking about.
What I Do
I build software. Sometimes it's for work, sometimes it's for fun, and sometimes it's because I had an idea at 2 AM that I couldn't shake. I believe in:
- Minimalism: Less is more. Constraints breed creativity.
- Performance: Fast sites are better for everyone.
- Accessibility: The web should work for everyone.
- Shipping: Done is better than perfect.
This Site
Built with Astro, styled with Tailwind CSS, and deployed somewhere on the edge. The ASCII background is a custom WebGL shader mixing reaction-diffusion and diffusion-limited aggregation—because static backgrounds are boring.
The design philosophy is simple: grayscale-first, minimal foreground, expressive background. No analytics, no tracking, no newsletter popups. Just content.
